Not only was the attentive restaurant staff the absolute hit during my visit, but also the unique flair. All tables were perfectly cleaned and the chairs were extremely comfortable. My sister and I loved the selection of drinks! I haven't been there for a long time so impressed with a place.

The table decorations on the squares and in the entire restaurant are appropriate and aesthetic. The toilets are always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a good impression. From our point of view, a visit here is highly recommended. The staff is always very busy and polite all the time! There has never been a dish there before cold on the table. The selection of drinks leaves nothing to be desired.

Terrific restaurant! The quality of the food was excellent and the couple who served us really loved what they were doing. We were served with a smile throughout the night. The location is great and the menu selection is perfectly sized. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a romantic night out.

Not only the attentive local staff was the total hit with my visit, but also the unique flair. The food was not the only thing, which makes in this tavern for amazement! I really like to try out new places and am constantly researching new places, but I will stay loyal to this place. The location is super easy to reach! The good transport links make a food trip quickly feasible. We think the prices are also completely ok.

Sitting at the "enchanted" table. Right on the stairs to the toilets. At full house the supply by the landlords is rather sparse. The garlic steak for over 20 euros hides under the side dishes. Tasty good, but for the price it should be bigger. I may be back, but I know what to expect.

Excellent food, excellent hospitality

This place is a must go. It legitimately is my favorite restaurant in Mainz. I cannot leave Germany without getting the Sauerkraut soup from here, on top of everything else they offer. Decadent food, warm friendly staff, delicious wine and desserts. What else do you need? Very happy coming here each and every visit.

Excellent local food and wine

Very unpleasant boss. Because we had ordered no mains, but only drinks and appetizers, we were insulted asked to leave the place. We should still drink the expensive drinks. Scandalous behavior!

Amazing local German restaurant with great food and wine. The place is very cute and rustic inside with a warm feel. The owner is wonderful and speaks excellent English. I will definitely return.

Never sure when the restaurant I will be open. Staff are friendly just not Vetter effective. Retirements ateond the next corner.

The card has somehow stopped in the 90s, but the food is good. Stale, but cozy atmosphere. Very good wines!

Surprise to the addition: the waiter (owner of the restaurant) has deliberately not understand my order when I showed him on the map: a bad order arrived a first time, the second time too (and especially a dish 10 € more expensive than the one ordered). A bottle of water at 6.5 € + salad of accompaniment at 4 €. The quality and dishes offered are far from exceptional. I do not recommend it.

German classic food. Average. Not bad but will not come back

Possibly the best decision made during our first visit to Germany. Dripping with charm, only to be exceeded by the "Welcome Home" service, and sumptuous dishes. A reason to stop-over in Mainz.

The pulpit is as authentic as the owner. Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. You feel very well and almost something like in Paris! Thank you for the nice celebration!
